Sen is the tool. The course is the skill.
Sen holds your plan. It does not tell you whether the plan is any good. That is a skill, and it is what the course teaches.
These are the eight planning threads the Krong course is built around. The highlighted ones are covered here. What are the planning threads?
Sen does the sums. Krong teaches the judgement.
| Sen does | Krong teaches |
|---|---|
| Calculate the critical path | Choosing the right tasks and the right order |
| Add up cost and forecast | Judging whether your estimates are credible |
| Score risks you enter | Finding the risks you have not thought of |
| Show who is overloaded | Deciding who should do what |
| Build a status report | Deciding what to tell a worried sponsor |
What the course adds
- A way of thinking. Eight planning threads and five principles, so you know what a complete, connected plan contains.
- A worked case. Caldera Freight, a full plan you build part by part, with real figures that agree across every section.
- AI used well. How to work with AI on a plan, and how to check what it gives you, using structured prompts.
- A reviewer. Your applied practice plan is read by an experienced, certified project manager, who tells you what to change.
- A certificate. It states what you showed, and can be verified.
Why they work best together
Sen makes the connections. The course tells you which connections matter, and how to defend your numbers when someone challenges them. Used together, you get a plan that is consistent and a planner who can explain it.
Sen is optional
You can do the course with a template or a spreadsheet. The reasons to choose Sen are that the links are already made, the figures agree, and the plan exports to a document, a board deck, a workbook and a task file.
Where to start
You can try the course and Sen before you pay anything. Free access gives you two complete modules, with no card needed. A quick free sign-up is all it takes.
- Module 1, Orientation. The Triple Standard of Augmentation, Verification and Integrity, which is how the course uses AI without handing over your judgement. You also meet Caldera Freight, the worked case you plan throughout the course.
- Module 8, Risk. Probability and impact scoring, and how to build a risk register you can defend. Risk is where most plans are weakest, so this is a real piece of the course, not a teaser.
- Sen. Build your own plan in the tool, with the finished Caldera Freight example beside it to explore and copy.
Between them, Module 1 shows you how the course thinks, Module 8 gives you a skill you can use on Monday, and Sen shows what a connected plan feels like. If they are useful, the rest of the course is there when you are ready. If not, you have lost nothing. The course page has the full outline.
